Unlimited: Irrevocable

for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable (Romans 11:29).
It is important to understand that God’s gifts and his call were never meant to be restricted to the Jewish people. From the very beginning, it had been God’s plan that they be received by the world. However, the Jewish people zealously hoarded the knowledge and the blessings of God for themselves.
Although the Jewish leaders had colluded with Rome to have Jesus executed, and although they had killed Stephen and persecuted Paul, they couldn’t stop God’s will being fulfilled. This magnificent statement of the apostle Paul reminds us that in the end, God’s gracious message of salvation cannot and will not be suppressed. The Gospel will always win. It will always win in your life as well, if you let it.
God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.
When God gives something he doesn’t later take it away. Jesus taught this very same thing with regard to eternal life. He said in John 10:
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. (vv.27–29.)
You are saved the moment you believe and for as long as you believe.
Spiritual Application
Go and take a walk in a peaceful natural place. As you do, prayerfully reflect on the words of Rom. 11:29. How do they apply in your own life?
True. Once given by God, it will always be yours. Ours is eternal life n all the earthly blessings. Thanks for teaching us. Jah bless you Papa.
