“The kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit” ([tippy title=”Matthew 21:43″ class=”” showheader=”true” href=”” width=”450″ height=”60″]43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.[/tippy]).
The unmistakable and distinctive sign of the kingdom’s presence is its fruit – the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. The church or churches where these are in short supply are outside the kingdom of God. Even if they claim to be Abraham’s children, or the heirs of the apostle Peter, their distinctive status will be taken from them and given to others who produce the correct fruit.
