Excerpt: I have a hackneyed joke that I often tell to relieve my guilty conscience. I mean my
guilty conscience regarding the rarity with which I do my filing. Its a long-standing vice
with me, that I rarely, ever so rarely, get down to filing important materials for purposes
of later retrieval.
