“It was out of envy that the chief priests had handed Jesus over to Pilate” (Mark 15:10)
Envy and its synonyms are all negative; they are all arrows in Satan’s quiver. You won’t find anyone in the kingdom of heaven who is envious, because envy says, “You are better than me and I don’t like it.” True Christians, on the other hand, say, “I really admire you for the talents God has given you; they enhance our lives.”
