Tears For Ukraine

Last night Dr Philip Rodionoff and Dr Eliezer Gonzalez led the people who are attending the evangelistic gospel programmes in the Ukrainian city of Poltava in a special time of prayer for the peace of God to come upon the country, and upon the hearts of those who have lost loved ones and homes in the current war.
When the prayers finished, many people were weeping. Everyone here has their own story to tell.
Specifically, there are at least seven families of refugees from the conflict in East Ukraine who were present. This is only a fraction of the more than 10,000 refugees who have flooded the city. Many of them had to leave their cities and towns with only the clothes on their back and whatever they could quickly pack.
Ukraine is a nation, with a warm-hearted people, that has endured great suffering during its history. Philip and Eliezer also prayed for God to bring wisdom and the spirit of peace into the hearts of the leaders and decision-makers involved.
The people at these evangelistic meetings are receptive to the gospel, and many are accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, and they are eagerly learning the basic teachings of the Bible.
