All are justified freely by his grace through redemption that came by Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23-24).
When Jesus died on the cross he died for everyone without exception.
But God does not force his free gift of salvation on anyone. He reveals it in his word and you are free to accept it or free to reject it. If you accept it and don’t turn your back on it, then you are saved, totally and eternally; if you reject it and never change your mind, then you are lost, totally and eternally.
If the basis of your salvation is Jesus, and Jesus alone, you cannot be lost because Jesus is eternal, and all who accept him as their Lord and Saviour will live eternally.
Did you notice that those who put their faith in Jesus are justified freely by his grace? They are saved by God’s grace and not by their good works. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8). Here, Paul is careful to make it clear that we are not saved because we have great faith, because faith, like grace, is also God’s gift. Your faith in God, even if it is as small as a mustard seed, is all you need to grasp hold of God’s grace.
Do you believe that you are saved by God’s grace and not by anything you do yourself? If you don’t believe you can be saved by God’s grace, reach out now and claim the greatest gift ever given—eternal life. It’s yours for the asking.
