Jesus Sees Your Potential
It just takes one person who can see your potential, and your life can be changed forever, can’t it? I’m sure you’ve got your own story of that one teacher or influential person who saw something in you, and nurtured it, and changed the course of your life.
For me, it happened at uni, when I was just a face in the crowd, but one professor pulled me aside and asked me about my plans, and he told me that he thought I had potential. He took me under his wing.
Jesus did something similar. He was having a stroll by the sea he saw a fisherman named Peter. Except Jesus didn’t see a rough fisherman. He saw potential in this man, and he said to him, “Come and follow me.”
He did the same thing with everyone he met, and he’s still doing it today.
Remember: Even when no one else can, Jesus sees your potential.
