One Job To Do
One day, I forgot to pick my daughter from school, and boy, didn’t the missus give me a hard time! Like, I had one job to do, and I failed miserably!
Christians have one job to do as well, and that is to give everyone in the world some life-changing good news: that God is so good and gracious, that he sent Jesus into the world to offer full and free forgiveness to all who will believe in him.
But although Christians have only one job to do, it’s easy even for them to get caught up in the stuff that isn’t important.
If you’re a believer, what are you doing to focus on the one job you have to do?
And if you’re not a believer, and you know someone who is, then help them do the job they have to do! Ask them what Jesus’ death and resurrection means to them!
