“It is the Holy Gospel that led me to go to poorest of the poor people who do not know about Jesus. My team and I went among them and conducted a Gospel meeting. Fifteen people accepted Jesus and they are so happy.” – Pr Joseph
Pr Joseph and his evangelism team recently travelled to St Colony, India to preach the Gospel. St Colony is a place where the poorest of the poor people in society live. They don’t have proper houses to live in. Every day they do the same thing – try to catch food so they can survive. Their meals consist of rats and fish and whatever animals they can catch in order to feed themselves and their families. The people in the community did not know about Jesus.
“Fifteen people accepted Jesus and they are so happy”
So Pr Joseph and his evangelism team went to St Colony and held a Gospel meeting. In the evening, once everyone who had left the village to catch food had returned, Pr Joseph began to speak. The people gathered to listen. They learned that there is a God who loves them. They learned about Jesus and what he has done for them. The message touched their hearts as they listened to what Pr Joseph was saying. As a result of the meeting 15 people accepted Jesus into their lives.
Ramanrao, an elder from the village, said,
Early every morning I go and do fishing work and I come back by evening. I never heard about Jesus before and this is the first time. So this Gospel meeting helped me, and my colony people, to know about Jesus and we accept Jesus in our lives. Thanks to you.
