A Big Big Family
I always wanted a big family. Because my parents migrated to Australia with only my brother and I, that’s all there ever was. There were no uncles, aunties, or cousins in my life.
When I married my lovely wife, I told her that I was looking forward to being the father of twelve children. But it turns out that she had a say in this as well, and so we ended up with only two. And they don’t seem to be in a hurry to grow the family either.
I’ve good friends, and I belong to a good community of people, but I’ve never really found the big, big family that I’ve been looking for, at least not in the way I thought.
The Bible says that when we are children of God, we belong to a great, big family. It’s the greatest family of all, all over the world, and forever!
Remember: With Jesus you get a big family!
