Change of Venue and Time for Des Ford Memorial Service: Statement from Avondale College

The following has been posted on the Facebook page of Avondale College:
“The venue and time for the Avondale Remembers Des Ford program this Saturday (March 30) has changed. It will now be in the Griffith Duncan Theatre at The University of Newcastle (University Drive, Callaghan NSW 2308), and it will begin at 4 pm.
Note: Parking at The University of Newcastle is free on Saturday afternoon. We recommend parking in P6, P2 and P1. Disabled parking is available in P7 or by the theatre. See map attached or search “Griffith Duncan Theatre” on this page.
Avondale College of Higher Education’s administration apologises for this change and for any inconvenience. We welcome your attendance.
As previously planned, this service will focus on Dr Ford’s contribution to Avondale and on how Avondale experienced him as a person. It will not focus on theological or church issues.”

Greetings commenters - there is a message on the Good News Unlimited facebook page that it will be livestreamed from their page: https://goodnewsunlimited.com//www.facebook.com/GoodNewsUnlimited/ It starts at 4pm local time in Newcastle (AEDT - same time as Sydney, NSW, Australia).

is Des Ford's Memorial service being live streamed form Newcastle Uni. and if not can we get a DVD of the programme? Some of us who live in other States would wish to be there so request a DVD if possible and are happy to pay for same. Thank you
