Encourage Someone Today!
I’ve found that when someone has taken the time to give me just a simple word of encouragement, it’s made a massive difference to me. I’ve appreciated it so much!
Research has actually demonstrated time and time again that you will always achieve far more through encouragement than by criticism.
So why isn’t actually encouraging others more popular than criticising them?
The reason is that when you criticise someone, you get an immediate sense of power over them, and perhaps an instant response from the other person. It’s a false sense of gratification.
The odd thing about encouragement is that no matter how much you think that you need encouragement, there is actually always someone who needs encouragement more than you do.
Jesus is the greatest encourager of all. All you have to do is to consider him and what he has done for you, to be encouraged yourself. So, go ahead, encourage someone today!
