Free From Guilt

When my father was eight years old, he had a five-year-old brother called Antonio.

One morning, when their mother went to go to work, little Antonio wanted to follow her, and so she told my father to restrain him. So, he did, holding him in his arms while he struggled.

Little Antonio took a turn for the worse, and that evening Antonio died.

Their mother was distraught with grief. She turned on my father, who was only eight, and she screamed at him, “You killed Antonio!”

My father carried that guilt for the rest of his life.

Each one of us carries a huge load of guilt. Some of it is for stuff for which we’re responsible, and some of it is for stuff that others have unfairly laid on us.

Whatever might be the reason for your guilt, you can be forgiven, released and guilt-free in Jesus

Remember the words of Jesus, if the Son sets you free, you are truly free. Guilt-free!
