God’s Word is a Game Changer

Since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse (Rom. 1:20).
If there isn’t an almighty God, where did our universe with its 100 billion galaxies come from? There are more galaxies in the universe than there are grains of sand on Earth. What power, other than God could create such greatness and beauty? The alternatives invented by atheists are not very convincing. In fact, they are so unconvincing many former atheist scientists are now putting their faith in God.
If there isn’t a God, then who programmed the genetic codes of all creatures? The genetic code is so complex it takes much more faith to believe that it happened by accident that to believe it was designed and made by God.
The best person to give you advice on how to operate a complex machine is the manufacturer. The best person, therefore, to tell you how to live, is your Creator. Yes, only those who don’t want God to tell them how to live would refuse to accept that he had a say about how they should live.
If you really want to live well and enjoy life to its fullest, listen to what God has to say to you in his word. The rewards of heeding God’s counsel are joy in your life, peace in your soul, and hope for your future.
God’s word is a game changer for those who take it seriously. It makes successful people out of failures; it replaces weakness with strength, negativity with positivity, and defeat with victory. If God is God, then that is what we would expect of him.
