How Jesus Helped Rajak Get His Life Back

When Rajak’s life fell apart, he became addicted to alcohol and suicidal. But then he heard the Good News on the GNU TV Programme and everything changed.
Rajak is from the village of Mubaraq, India. He was Muslim and was brought up in the Muslim culture and was doing what all Muslims do. He worked as a mechanic doing motorbike repair and was married with two children. But in his life there was no peace and he was facing all kinds of problems and he did not know what to do.
In his Muslim community, people did not help him and were not caring about him or helping him to overcome his family problems and personal problems. So he became addicted to alcohol and became unable to go to work. He remained at his house and did not know what to do.
So he lived like that for years and lost hope for his life and wanted to commit suicide. He thought that his life was useless and meaningless here on earth.
He stopped drinking alcohol and started reading the Holy Bible daily. He started going back to work.
Then early one morning he happened to put on the TV and he saw the GNU TV Programme. So he watched the message and heard the Word of God and he got a little bit of courage and confidence in life. So he decided to watch the GNU TV Programme weekly.
The Holy Gospel touched his heart and changed his way of life and he accepted Jesus into his life. So he stopped drinking alcohol and started reading the Holy Bible daily. He started going back to work. He has been doing well and his wife and children are happy. He has been overcoming all his problems.
As he has been watching the GNU TV Programme, he has been learning about the Word of God. He called me, as I host the programme, and I prayed for his family and went to his house to share the Word of God with him and his family.
He says,
It is the Holy Gospel that changed my life and my family life. I believe in Jesus though my community members are against me and my family. But I am so happy with my family to read and listen to the Word of God. Thanks to Jesus for changing my life.
