Meet the Good News Children’s Care Centre’s Newest Teacher!

“God has done great things in my life”

Meet Revathi, the newest member of the team at the Good News Children’s Care Centre in Nandiwada, India! She came to know about Jesus through watching the GNU TV Programme and now she shares her faith in her new role.

Revathi is from the village of Nuthulapadu. She is 28 years old, and has two daughters, but has sadly lost her husband.

She started watching the GNU TV Programme when she came across it on TV one day. She became a regular viewer and the message she heard touched her heart. As a result of watching the programme, she accepted Jesus into her life.

Revathi called Pr Joseph, who hosts the programme, and it was arranged for them to meet at the Good News Children’s Care Centre, a building that is used as a school and also as a venue for Gospel meetings. Revathi shared her story with Pr Joseph and also told him about the many economic problems she was facing.

Revathi has been given a job working with and teaching the children at the Good News Children’s Care Centre. Although it originally started in a rented room, the centre has grown to become a school with its own building. It has a growing number of children and teachers, and continues its original mission to serve the “untouchable” community of Nandiwada.

Revathi is also interested in becoming involved in Gospel evangelism. She says,

It is God who has led me to watch the GNU TV Programme. So God has done great things in my life after I heard the powerful Word of God. I am so happy and glad now. Thanks to Jesus.
