Music in the Toilet
I used to play the violin, and I wasn’t that bad at it, either.
I remember one time a violinist friend and I were practicing to play in the orchestra for a school musical. The music rooms were occupied, and so, for one reason or another, we ended up in the boys’ toilets with our violins. Yes, it was an unusual location, and the toilets were a bit on the smelly side, but we decided to practice right there anyway.
And we discovered that the acoustics were glorious! We stayed and played for ages, thoroughly enjoying ourselves. I bet those toilets had never had such beautiful sounds made in them before.
You know, sometimes it’s in the least likely places that you can find the greatest beauty. Sometimes the grace of God is the most glorious in the unlikeliest of places. And that could be true in your life as well. Think about it.
Sometimes the grace of God is the most glorious in the unlikeliest spots.
