Practise Love

“Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honour one another above yourselves” (Rom. 12:10).

If you and your fellow believers take these words to heart and practise them at all times your fellowship will be united and healthy.

1 Corinthian 13 is so familiar, we often say the words without truly thinking of the meaning. Pause for a moment today to apply it to your daily life: ^ And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. This is a very special summary of the gospel, and a reminder of what the community of Christ is all about.

Do not allow the devil to turn you against your brother or sister in Jesus over some petty issue. And do not allow the devil to deceive you into thinking that you are better than your brother or sister.

No matter who we are, we are equal in God’s sight as we all, without exception, have been saved by the grace of God and not by our own efforts.
