Resurrection Power
There’s a story about a man who was buried in an old grave in Italy. He wasn’t a believer, but at the same time he was a little worried that the Christians might be right.
So the man had had a huge stone slab put over his grave in case there was, in fact, a resurrection. And he had inscribed on it, “I don’t want to be raised from the dead. I don’t believe in it.”
An acorn must have fallen into the grave, because it had grown up through it, totally smashed the slab, and grown into a huge oak tree.
That’s what an acorn can do, but Christ can do more!
The apostle Paul says in Philippians 3:10:
I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead.
You see, when you know Christ, you will experience his mighty resurrection power, both in this life, and on the day of resurrection.
When you know Jesus, you will experience his mighty resurrection power.
