“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Rom. 12:2).
The pattern of this world is SELF. The natural man wants to rule his own life without any interference by God. But when the gospel enters a person’s life, patterns are turned upside down. The ‘norms’ don’t apply any more, because Jesus’ death and resurrection have turned despair into hope and death into life. Everything is renewed.
So when you accept the gospel, you receive a new life. A renewed mind that will transform your life is a mind that, having accepted the good news of the gospel, puts God, rather than self, at the centre.
With God at the centre of your thoughts and actions, your life will become constructive rather than destructive. Your life will become a blessing rather than a curse.
Invite God to come and take control of your thoughts and actions today. You will never regret making such an invitation.
