Unlimited: The Full Measure of the Blessing of Christ

I know that when I come to you,I will come in the full measure of the blessing of Christ (Romans 15:29).
Too many of us are satisfied with half-measures in our lives. We are not to accept half-measures in our spiritual lives. Paul sought the “full measure of the blessing of Christ” and we are to do so in our lives as well.
In his letter to the believers in Ephesus, Paul wrote:
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ (Eph. 1:3.)
If the Father has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ, why should we settle for less in our lives?
We are to seek the “full measure of the blessing of Christ” in our lives as well.
The Message paraphrase beautifully captures Jesus’ teaching when he said,
A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of (John 10:10, Msg.)
There are people who think that they can’t receive God’s blessing in full because they are undeserving. Others believe that the longer that they have been a Christian, or the more they pray or the more they study the Bible, the more of Christ’s blessing they will receive. This is to completely misunderstand how God relates to you. All is of love. All is of grace.
