Unlimited: God Pours His Love into Our Hearts
Jan 9, 2025 1385
We know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love (Romans 5:5, NLT).
Because God, who is our maker and preserver is love, the love of God is poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit who is given to us.
God’s love is just as infinite as his wisdom and his power. It is a love that with patience and forgiveness invites the worst as well as the so-called best, saying,
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16, NKJV).
The love of God is poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit.
Whoever believes God’s promises and takes hold of Christ receives love. Now the sky above is a richer blue, and the grass around a deeper green. Now we see in all those around us the purchased fruit of the blood of Christ. Now we know that despite our imperfections we are loved and accepted.
“You are complete in him” and “accepted in the beloved” and “without condemnation” (Colossians 2:20; Ephesians 1:6; Romans 8:1) “If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin” (1 John 1:7).
It is in this reality of God’s Word that we must learn to live. – Des Ford (adapted)
Reflection: As human beings we tend to limit our understanding of God’s love, and that limits how we love others. How have you limited God’s love in your own understanding in the past? Stretch yourself and show God’s love in a practical way to someone who is seemingly unlovable.
Please allow me to disagree with you. Christianity teaches us that God's grace are our greatest point of contact to God's supernatural blessings and love.... not obedience. - Grace and Peace, Eliezer
Yap! Our limitations are our disobedience to God's word. Obedience is our greatest point of contact to God's supper natural blessings and love. Yes agape love crosses all boarders as far as humanity is concern but the point here's how much do we yarn for God's Love?. I desire somuch God's love.

God's love should not have a limit, his passion extends to everybody. That is why he sent HIS SON to die for our sins. God wants us to love beyond our limits, He wants us even to love those who hit us.
