Unlimited: God’s Word Never Fails

It is not as though God’s word had failed (Romans 9:6a).
When for almost two millennia the Seed promised to Abraham did not arrive, it seemed like God’s word had failed.
When God’s people were almost annihilated so many times throughout the history of the Old Testament, it seemed as if God’s word had failed, so that
…when the right time finally came, God sent his own Son…. (Gal. 4:4, GNV.)
When the Messiah was born in a stable instead of a palace, it seemed as if God’s word had failed.
When for 30 years Jesus did nothing but be a craftsman in a disreputable small town, it seemed as if God’s word had failed.
God’s word never fails.
When Jesus refused to be crowned king time and time again, it seemed as if God’s word had failed.
When Jesus was arrested and brutally beaten, it seemed as if God’s word had failed.
When Jesus died, crucified as a criminal on a Roman cross, it seemed as if God’s word had failed.
…Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners…. (Gal. 5:6, NLT.)
God’s word never fails.
Whenever you are tempted to think that God has not come through for you, remember that God’s word never fails. He will fulfil his word to you:
…If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place… (Hab. 2:3.)
Spiritual Application
Is there something in your life for which you have been waiting for a long time? Do you trust your heavenly Father enough to wait patiently, leaving it in his hands?

Thank you very much for this word: "God's word never fails." This came to me during the time I was thinking that may be God has forgotten me. Because I have prayed for things and I see them happen. I was saying may be I don't know how to pray. But thank God again I have been inspired by your word. Let me patient and leave everything to him. Because He knows our every care. Let me wait patiently. Thank you.
