Unlimited: Grace and Amen

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen (Romans 16:24, NKVJ).

In saying farewell, it is natural for one’s most heartfelt wishes to be given to the other. Paul’s greatest wish is that the grace of Jesus be with those who receive his letter. This is a common farewell in Paul’s letters.

When Paul mentions “grace” here, he isn’t meaning some generalised “feel-good” sentiment. He isn’t meaning his own good feelings towards his spiritual brothers and sisters in Rome. He is pointing to the “grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Because of the Gospel, it doesn’t matter how your story started. It will end in grace.

As the first Christians remembered what they had seen and experienced with Jesus, one of the qualities that was most imprinted in their hearts was the grace that he showed to all. To those who were rejected, scorned, and abused by the religious and social norms of the day, Jesus showed accepting and healing grace.

Christ is the source and the great river of grace that flows from heaven through this world to those who are oppressed and crushed by sin.

The stories of our lives all start with sin. It is right that Paul introduces grace here at the end of his letter, and that he writes “amen” after having done this. It reminds us that because of the Gospel that Paul has written about, it doesn’t matter how your story started. It will end in grace.

Hello, I am new on the side. I would like to share my moments of grace. There are many in my 42 years of life that I have experienced God's grace knowingly and unknowingly. In 2021 a miracle was performed in my life when I found out in September 2020 that I was expecting and expecting twins, it was bittersweet in 2021 the year my boys were born, I found out one of my boys Zalen's heartbeat stopped at 20 weeks pregnant, I carried him till 28 weeks and had to go to emergency for had to give birth. On 23 March 2021 three months premature I gave natural birth to my stillborn baby Zalen I sat for a few hours holding my baby boy and then a couple of hours later I had to go for an emergency C-section for my other twin Zaden who was born weighing 912kg he was in the hospital for till June 202, this year was the most stressful year for me adding covid, but I thank God that my baby Zaden made so he is running around the joy of our household. Everyday God does wonders and I am greatful for it all.
