“‘A great prophet has appeared among us,’ they said. ‘God has come to help his people’” (Luke 7:16).

While the help that Jesus offered was different from what people had expected, it was far better and much more inclusive than what they expected.

The “help” that Jesus offered was available to everyone, politician or constituent, rich and poor, educated and ignorant, free man and prisoner, living or dying.

Without exception Jesus made eternal life available to all who put their trust in him.
