Daily Good News – 12 March

Jesus said, “As you are going with your adversary to the magistrate try hard to be reconciled to him on the way, or he may drag you off to the judge, and the judge turn you over to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison. I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny” (Luke 12:58).

There is a coming judgement for every one of us. The adversary who is, at this present time, taking us to the magistrate, is Jesus. He has already paid the full penalty for our transgressions, and his only complaint with us is that we value his sacrifice so little we reject it.

Only those who become reconciled with him by accepting his costly sacrifice on their behalf will escape the coming judgement.
