Joining Hands Together to Spread the Gospel – Nyakeyo, Kenya
Aug 10, 2017 1716
Two churches in the village of Nyakeyo, Kenya have recently partnered with GNU to spread the Gospel around the world. Together these churches have 78 members, and the passion to share the Good News.
The church began in the home of Pr John Oseko in 2014. Two families would meet in his home, but this number quickly grew. Only a year later the church had grown so much that they decided to build a temporary shelter to accommodate the large number of people. This is where they now meet.
The churches have a weekly service and a weekly Bible study held in people’s homes. They are eager to have meetings to teach people about the Gospel, and they want Christians to actively participate in their local churches. They want to partner with GNU to spread the Gospel everywhere in the world.
Our vision is to teach the truth of the Gospel in a way that is easy to receive and fast to understand.
The church also runs the Amani Orphans and Vulnerable Children Support Organization, and currently looks after 12 orphans who lost their parents to HIV/AIDS or political violence.
Pr John says,
Our vision is to teach the truth of the Gospel in way that is easy to receive and fast to understand, without complication or confusion. Then all people can understand it faster and start living a new life that’s liberated and set free. Our interest is to join hands together as brothers and sisters to spread of the Gospel to every corner of the world.
