No Condemnation

Radio Version:
No Condemnation
I once walked into a place where there were lots of people. Although I knew everyone there, no-one would look at me. Why? Because of a rumour that had gone around about me, and everyone was judging and condemning me.
The most famous verse in all the Bible, and rightly so, is John 3:16:
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
This verse is so good, that I think few people continue on, to read the very next verse, which says:
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (John 3:17).
When you judge and condemn another, it’s never helpful. It destroys lives rather than helping to build them up. Remember: if God didn’t send Jesus into the world to condemn, then… don’t condemn!
In your interactions with others, no condemnation is helpful.
