100 People Accept Christ – Cherson, Ukraine

Everyone who attended at one of the venues stood to affirm their decision to accept Christ.

100 people accepted Christ in Cherson, Ukraine, yesterday. This happened at the public Gospel meetings being held by Dr Philip Rodionoff and Dr Eliezer Gonzalez in the city of Cherson.

As the two-week series ends its first week, Eliezer made a call for people to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour, and 100 people stood up to do so, across two venues. The majority of these people were until recently non-believers.

The nightly meetings have featured a combination of convincing presentations on evidences for Christianity, together with very powerful Gospel messages. The people, some of whom have never met a foreigner before, expressed an appreciation both for the quality of the messages and for the sacrifices made to bring the truth to them.  Ana says,

It is very important for me to consider the evidence and feel confidence in the decision that I am making.

Some of those who attended the Gospel meetings explain that they were invited by others, and are glad they ended up going. Raya and Fyodor say,

We are very happy to be here with God. Thank you! Thank you! We want to be baptised.  We want to serve God from our hearts.
