When you build your life on Jesus Christ, you can be sure that you’re going to survive.
We don’t really get many earthquakes in Australia. However, I experienced a medium-sized earthquake when I visited Chile once. It was early in the morning, and I was in the foyer of a company where I was to give English lessons to executives.
It was so early that it was just me and the big burly security guard behind the counter. Suddenly everything started moving and swaying around me, with a tremendous noise! I didn’t know how to react, so I just stood there, but the guard threw himself down under the counter, crying out, “Mama! Mama! Mama!”
You want your house to have strong foundations. And it’s the same with your life, because whoever you are, you can be sure of one thing: in one way or another, earthquakes are going to hit your life.
