A Young Man Leads His Family to Jesus – Nandiwada, India

Ram, a young man of 19 years of age, has led his entire family to faith in Jesus. His family live in Nandiwada, India. This is where the Good News Children’s Care Centre is.
His parents, Venkat and Ramya were both born and brought up in Hindu families and their great grandfathers were Hindu. They have two children: Ram and a 13 year old girl named Sase. They wanted to make sure their children were educated, but the money they have been earning from their work was not sufficient. So they borrowed money from other people and got into debt. However, they had problems in repaying the money because Venkat became sick and was unable to work.
One day Ram came to our Good News Children Center and asked me to pray for him and his family. Then he went and told his parents. They were so happy and came to me and asked me to pray for them. I prayed with them, and I shared Jesus with them. They wanted to know more about Jesus, so I went their house and preached the Holy Gospel to them. I gave Holy Bibles to all their family members and they started reading them. Now the whole family has accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. Venkat says,
After accepting Jesus in our family we are so happy. We pray and read the Holy Bible daily. Although I am sick, by praying every day I am so much strengthening daily. My wife Ramya has been worrying a lot daily about our money problems and we thought of selling our small house. But after accepting Jesus in our lives and family we now have faith in Jesus that we are thankful to him that he will solve our problems.
