I believe in love at first sight. I never used to, until it actually happened to me.
I was speaking to a crowd of 250 people, when the door at the back of the hall swung open. The light streamed in, and through it walked this vision of loveliness. Straightaway my mouth went dry and I started stumbling over my words. I just stared! People who were there that day say it’s the funniest thing they ever saw. And eighteen months later, I married her.
You know, very often the most important things that happen to us are not the things we planned for. They just hit us out of the blue. Sometimes they’re good – even wonderful, but often, they’re not so good.
That’s why we need God in our lives. When you don’t feel like you’re strong enough, you can depend on God. His grace will get you through – both the good and the bad.
God’s grace will get you through all the unexpected things in life.
