Unlimited: God Invites You to Prove Him

Prove me now (Malachi 3:10, KJV).
All the works of Creation are proofs of God—they provide evidence of His eternal power and being. And because He is not only the Creator, but the Sustainer of them all, they give continual proof of Him, His goodness, His faithfulness and His care.
In this way, all God’s creatures are not only proofs of His existence, but proofs of His wisdom, His loving kindness and His grace! The smallest and the mightiest of His created works, every one of them, in some degree prove His love and teach us how marvellous is His character.
All of God’s works prove Him unintentionally. But the saints prove Him intentionally.
But God has given to humanity this purpose which is greater than all the works of His hands, that we alone should make purposeful and intelligent proof of God. The things of earth prove God—the cattle on a thousand hills low forth His honour and the very lions roar His praise! Yet they do it naturally, without intent, judgment and will. Although the sun proves the majesty and the might of its Master, yet the sun has neither mind nor thought, nor the intention to glorify God.
All of God’s works prove Him unintentionally. But the saint does it intentionally. – Charles Spurgeon (adapted)
Reflection: Pray this prayer: Father, use me to prove who you are to someone who needs to know, in some way today. I surrender my actions, my words, and my thoughts to you, for your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
