if it is teaching, then teach (Romans 12:7b).
The gift of teaching is central to our purpose on earth, because it is the core of how the Good News about Jesus Christ is to be communicated. In the Great Commission, Jesus said,
… “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matt. 28:18–20.)
Preaching without sound teaching will lead many astray.
The gift of teaching is central to our purpose on earth.
We are to learn the Gospel and then we are to keep growing. For this we must be taught. The reason why it is important that the Gospel be taught is that it is absolutely contrary to the carnal mind and therefore what our society teaches us. Moreover, because of this, even when you have been taught the Gospel, it can slip through your grasp if you become complacent and allow the values of this world to insinuate themselves into your life.
That’s why the gift of teaching is so important. Let us not despise teaching. We must always remember that most of all, Jesus was known as a teacher.

Can you think of a great teacher whom you have come across in your life? It could be a teacher from when you were in school, or from your church, or someone whose teachings you have accessed through other means. What qualities made them a great teacher? How did their teaching impact your life? Do something for a teacher whom you know.

Teaching is an act, and it is a gift from the Lord.I have met many teachers who taught me and have appreciated them the little way l could,those still living,I do appreciate often, myself being a teacher has been appreciated by many of my students.In the spiritual realm, many tele- evangelists did a lot to affect my spiritual growth.
