Wheels Within Wheels
With all the crazy things that happen in our world, do you ever sit back and wonder if there’s really anyone in charge of what’s going on? Is there a bigger purpose to our lives?
Let’s take a look at two parts of the Bible for some answers.
In Ezekiel 1, God showed the prophet a vision of enormous wheels turning in every direction. Above them was a throne… but Ezekiel wasn’t sure who was sitting on it.
In the Book of Revelation, the prophet John saw a similar scene. But in this vision, the identity of the one who sits on the throne is revealed. Right in the middle of the throne is the Lamb who was slain.
When life feels uncertain – when you wonder if there’s any purpose or meaning at all, remember who sits on the throne – Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God – and trust that he has a purpose, even if you can’t see what it is just yet.
