The greatest thing that you can achieve in life is to accept the salvation that Jesus Christ offers you.
I’ve got this burning desire to achieve great things. As a little kid, I dreamt of growing up and changing the world. But today, I’m often frustrated by the limitations that things like money, time, and health place upon me. Aren’t you?
I faced the issue of limitations recently when the doctor thought I might have leukemia. Thankfully, I didn’t.
But I was thinking about achievement the other day, and the thought struck me that the greatest thing that you can achieve in life is to accept the salvation that Jesus Christ offers you. If you’ve done that, then you’re the most successful person on earth.
We only feel the pressure to achieve because of our mortality. But if you have accepted the sacrifice of Jesus on your behalf, then you have eternal life (John 3:16). An endless eternity of glorious achievement lies ahead of you. What more then, could you ever wish to achieve?
