The Load of Unforgiveness

The heaviest load that we can carry in this life is the load of unforgiveness.
I’ve seen people become bitter and shrivelled up inside. They never noticed it creeping up on them. It took years. But it got them in the end.
And I’ve seen people die alone and friendless, cut off, by their own choice, even from everyone who loved them.
And all because they refused to forgive!
Forgiveness is like breathing. You’re made to breathe in and to breath out. If all you do is breathe in and don’t breathe out, soon you won’t be breathing at all.
Forgiveness is like that. It actually doesn’t do you any good unless you release it to share it with others.
The heaviest load that we can carry in this life is the load of unforgiveness. It darkens your days and makes your nights endless.
How much unforgiveness are you carrying around?
It’s time to lose the load. Remember: Jesus not only forgives; he also teaches you how to forgive.
