In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling.
Exodus 15:13
So sang the Israelites in celebration of their rescue from the clutches of Pharoah at the Red Sea. Well might the redeemed of the Lord Jesus swell the chorus. They have been wrested the bondage of guilt, futility and despair. They are bought with a price. They are his heritage. He will never leave them nor forsake them. No one can pluck them out of his strong hand. Indeed, they have ‘crossed over from death to life.’ Such are the certainties of the Christian faith. None are so liberated for service as those who know that heaven is already theirs.
