You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel.
1 Samuel 17:45
Those who do not know Israel’s God (the God of Scripture) are impressed by physical size and prowess, state of the art weaponry and all the instruments of main force (Am I a dog that you come at me with sticks? V.43). There are things more powerful than any of these. Those who trust in the Lord are inseparably joined to energies which brought the universe into being. They are linked to eternal momentums—and nothing can destroy them.
