Jesus said, “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32)

Jesus did not say, “Don’t be afraid, little flock, for your Father will be pleased to give you the kingdom.” If we are a part of Jesus’ flock, the kingdom is already our possession. The Father “has been”pleased [past tense] to give us the kingdom. We already have citizenshipin his kingdom because he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness, and brought us into it (Col. 1:13).
