“Why are you downcast, O my soul, why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God” (Psalm 42:11).
Here is an individual who epitomizes the human condition. He is in dialogue with himself. Deep inside his personality he is experiencing turbulence. Apprehension and fear mingle with tension and worry. He feels that this is no way to live. He believes that he was made for a higher existence. So he calls on his anxious, troubled self to entrust himself to God. In doing this he provides us with the only release from the pressures and cares of life. God will take care of–everything.
