How GNU Can Help You in the COVID-19 Pandemic

Here’s how we can help you in the COVID-19 pandemic. We are all facing very difficult times in the months ahead, in many areas of our lives. In times such as this it is easy to succumb to fear and to panic.

You need to listen to the advice of your local health authorities. Although our ministry focuses on sharing the Word of God, still, we can help you in the COVID-19 epidemic. I want to share with you four ways in which the ministry of Good News Unlimited (GNU) can help to support you, your family, and your community in these troubled times.

1. GNU Can Help Strengthen Your Faith and Hope in God

More than ever, you need to keep your faith strong, both for your own sake, and for the sake of those who depend on you. It’s often in times of crisis that God calls you to a deeper relationship with him.

GNU’s messages are encouraging and faith-building, without ever sugar-coating the realities of life. We can help you in the COVID-19 pandemic. Perhaps it’s time that you connected more deeply with the content that we have for you.

You can access our content through our website, where you will find tons of videos, audio files, and articles:https://www.goodnewsunlimited.com

Other ways of connecting with GNU include our:

2. GNU Can Reach People Who Are in Lock-down, Self-Isolation, or in Hospital

There are millions of people right now who are in lock-down. In some countries churches have been closed, so people can no longer attend their local church.

Being primarily a digital ministry, GNU is uniquely positioned to bring the Gospel, with its encouragement and hope, to people wherever they might be.

If you are in lock-down, we can help you in the COVID-19 pandemic. Or perhaps you know others who are unable to go out, or whose churches have been closed, you may recommend they connect with Good News Unlimited. They can do this through the digital means outlined under point #1 above.

3. GNU Can Help Bring Hope to the World

The current dreadful pandemic reminds us that time is short. Jesus said that just before his coming,

[t]here will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven (Luke 21:11, NIV).

The Gospel needs to be shared with the multitudes now. If not now, when?

As the world is gripped by fear, the Spirit of God may be opening doors to people’s hearts that were previously firmly shut. GNU, in almost every country on earth, is uniquely positioned to reach those people right now.

4. God Can Use GNU to Challenge Your Faith

In times of crisis, people tend to think first of their own perceived needs, and they stop thinking about others. You can see it in the panic-buying that is happening in different countries. Instead, GNU challenges you to think of others and to be kind and considerate of their needs.

One of the first things that happens in a crisis is that people stop spending on non-essentials. You can see it already everywhere.

You must always think of the real needs of your own family first. However, beyond those needs, there is nothing more essential than bringing the message of salvation to souls who are prisoners of fear.

God can use GNU to challenge you to not buy into that fear, but instead to continue supporting his work on earth, through acts of mercy and through the sharing of the Gospel. This is another way in which GNU can help you in the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you currently donate to the ministry of Good News Unlimited, please continue supporting us if you are able to do so. And if you are not a currently a donor, now is a good time to start, and to join us in the greatest mission on earth.

Covid-19 won’t stop us. Instead, as we see time running out for the world, it is our aim at GNU to increase our efforts to reach people everywhere with the message of the Gospel.

Please join us in this great enterprise while there is still time for planet earth.  Christ calls us to not be just hearers, but doers.

Please continue to pray for us, as we regularly pray for you also.
