The Best Auction Ever
Auctions can be pretty exciting … and usually the bidding frenzy stops when the cost has become too high to pay.
But every so often, there’s an auction where the bidding has risen so high, it’s gone beyond all reasonable expectations.
Well, that’s a bit like the cost God was willing to pay for you and I. It was so much higher than expected – He gave his one and only son so that we could be His!
And so, no matter what value your society, your friends or even your family may put on you, no matter how worthless you may feel, God tells you, “I have shown you your real value. While you were still a sinner, Christ died for you.”
Give thanks that you are worth so much to God, that Jesus willingly paid the ultimate price for your life.
The best auction ever.
