Unlimited: God Wins Great Victories Through People Like You

The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation (Isaiah 60:22).
In 480 B.C., just 300 Spartans held back the entire invading Persian army at the pass of Thermopylae in Greece. That incredible battle has been put to good use by Hollywood, most recently in the movie “300.”
In the Bible there’s also a story where an army of 300, with God’s help, defeated another massive army when the situation seemed hopeless. Gideon and his small army weren’t perfect, but they trusted God.
It’s easy to listen to that voice inside your head that tells you that you’re a nobody, facing impossible challenges. You can end up living in the movie that plays inside your head that tells you you’re unworthy, unlovable, and that the ending will be a bad one. But that’s not the truth if you have accepted the salvation that Jesus offers you.
Don’t let your feelings of inadequacy stop you from becoming a child of God, because he specialises in taking nobodies and turning them into somebodies. He has shown you how much you matter to him by coming to this world in the person of Jesus Christ, his Son. And when he rose again he showed that everyone can be a winner if they are in relationship with him.
God is recruiting now, and he wants you to be one of his “300”.

Every time feelings of worthlessness hit you, put it on and say this verse: “I am overwhelmed with joy in the Lord my God! For He has dressed me with the clothing of salvation and draped me in a robe of righteousness. I am like a bridegroom dressed for his wedding or a bride with her jewels” (Isaiah 61:10, NLT). Then step confidently into the world.
