Where Are You Staying?
As Jesus was walking along one day, he realised there were two men following him. So he turned around and said to them,
“What do you want?”
They said to him, “Teacher, where are you staying?”
He replied, “Come, and you will see.” – John 1:37–39.
Jesus doesn’t invite them to a destination, he invites them on a journey. He just says, “Come.”
It natural for us to want to know the destination. Too often we think that happiness is at the end of the road somewhere.
As you wake up every morning, remember that the joy is in the walk… and if you’re walking with Jesus, you’re already where you need to be.
They asked him “Where are you staying?” But if you’re walking with Jesus, you’re already where you need to be.
