“Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, ‘The kingdom of God does not come visibly, nor will people say, “Here it is,” or “There it is,” because the kingdom of God is among you” (Luke 17:20-21).
In this present age the kingdom is concealed so that only those who are willing to take their sins to the Lord Jesus so he can forgive them and stand in their place, will be given citizenship (Col. 1:13-14). Even though you are still in this world, you belong to God’s kingdom when you accept Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross.
When you do this, you enter God’s kingdom spiritually while you are still living in this world. Then, when Jesus returns, you will enter God’s kingdom literally.
